Jamie is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (9162) and an Outpatient Psychotherapist at Three Oaks Behavioral Health & Wellness. Jamie earned her undergraduate degree in Applied Psychology at North Carolina State University, minoring in Sociology and Criminology. She then went on to complete her Masters in Rehabilitation Counseling at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Jamie identifies that, for you, showing up to be present in the room demonstrates a leap of vulnerability and commitment to your therapeutic journey & recovery. Jamie, as the counselor, pledges to make that same commitment for each and every session with you. She is passionate about working with young adults struggling with intense levels of anxiety, mood instability, obsessive-compulsive dysregulation and/or perceptual disturbances. Jamie identifies the value in creating a space where individuals can feel heard, supported, and empowered to develop skills and the self-acceptance to thrive. Jamie utilizes a number of evidence-based modalities in her therapeutic approach including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Brainspotting and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
