Kristin has experience with providing case management, individual & group therapy, crisis intervention, and treatment development to children, adolescents, and adults.

Kristin believes individuals who have the motivation to improve, and the courage to seek growth through vulnerability and transparency, can accomplish all their desired goals. She views the counseling process as an alliance between client and therapist and considers the clients as the experts of their lives. Within the structure of the therapeutic relationship, clients can access their inner strengths and promote positive change. Kristin’s clinical focus areas are depression, anxiety, stress management, healthy relationships, emotional regulation, adjustment/life transition, self-esteem, identity, and purpose.

Kristin's therapeutic rationale is grounded in meeting individuals where they are and working from a person-centered, strength’s-based perspective, and solution-focused approach while incorporating evidence-based practices such as; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

Kristin’s goal as a therapist is to provide a safe environment where one can explore their primary interests, develop goals, and determine strengths and assets as they move forward in life. She looks forward to providing therapeutic services to adolescents and young adults.
