Works with 18+ and Couples

Kristin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA) and an Outpatient Psychotherapist at Three Oaks Behavioral Health & Wellness. Kristin received her Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from Fayetteville State University of Fayetteville, North Carolina.

Kristin believes clients are the experts in their lives. However, the counseling process between the client and therapist is a collaborative effort to target the client's desired goals for therapy. Regardless of what brings individuals to pursue therapy, they have the ability to cultivate change through awareness as guided by the therapist. Kristin believes in empowering clients to become the best version of themselves!

Kristin's therapeutic approach is grounded in meeting individuals where they are and working from a person-centered and strength-based perspective while incorporating treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based (MBCT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Kristin utilizes various evidence-based practices for individualized client care. In addition, Kristin incorporates faith-based counseling for clients who elect to include their faith as a part of their therapeutic process.

Kristin enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, photography, and exploring new restaurants and activities. Kristin loves ALL things self-care!

Kristin is pleased you are here and looks forward to working with you!
