Adrienne Nagaraj (she/they), LCMHCA
Outpatient Psychotherapist in Downtown Raleigh
Works with ages 18+
Hello! My name is Adrienne (they/she). I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate at Three Oaks Behavioral Health & Wellness in Downtown Raleigh and via Telehealth. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from San Francisco State University.
I am passionate about working with clients navigating chronic pain and chronic illness, trauma, sexuality and gender identity, employment/underemployment, family relationships, stress, and anxiety. I enjoy working with college age clients as well as other adults (ages 18+).
My goal is to co-create a therapeutic relationship anchored in safety, curiosity, empowerment ā and sometimes, humor. My therapeutic approach is person centered and trauma informed incorporating aspects of Psychodynamic Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and mindfulness.
I am LGBTQIA+ affirming and enthusiastically welcome clients of all races, cultures, and identities. This is a safe space to explore and celebrate intersectionality.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, listening to music, and exploring parks and outdoor spaces with my dog Jax.
Starting therapy can feel overwhelming. Iām proud of you for taking this first step and I look forward to supporting you on your journey!
