Hey there! Thanks for taking a moment to read my bio page. Choosing your therapist is not an easy decision, and I don’t take it lightly you chose to review my background. My therapeutic approach is a simple one:

  • Everyone and anyone is welcome in my office,

  • I believe that you are the expert on you, and

  • As your therapist it is my role to help you facilitate progress towards your life goals and/or settling any conflicts you might be facing.

For us, that begins with simply building rapport and a sense of transparency between you and myself. As your therapist, I strongly rely on your honest communication and I hope we can build enough trust that you can rely on mine.

I’ve gained experience with clients working through anxiety, depression, stress, academic concerns, family turmoil, identity concerns, life transitions, career transitions as well as emotional, physical and sexual trauma. My theoretical approach is an eclectic one utilizing Existentialist Therapy, Feminist Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT). My overall approach to counseling is to incorporate the best fitting therapeutic methods for each unique client. I adhere to the Health at Every Size ® (HAES) principles in my approach to body image therapy, meaning I affirm a holistic definition of health, which cannot be characterized as the absence of physical or mental illness, limitation, or disease.

In my spare time, I enjoy running outside, reading sci-fi, watching an NBA game or spending as much time as possible with my growing family.
