Kirby E. Jones (she/her), LCMHCA

Outpatient Psychotherapist at West Raleigh

Kirby Jones (she/her) is an outpatient psychotherapist at Three Oaks Behavioral Health who specializes in working with children, adolescents, and young adults. She received her Bachelor of Arts in English from Meredith College in 2019 and her dual degree in divinity and counseling in 2024. She provides in-person services at the West Raleigh office and telehealth services across North Carolina for clients aged 12 and older.

Kirby is passionate about creating a space where challenging feelings and experiences can be met with curiosity and compassion. She especially enjoys supporting clients working through anxiety, grief, life transitions, identity formation, complex trauma, religious harm/deconstruction, and neurodivergence. When working with children and adolescents, she is intentional about integrating the family system into the therapeutic process and emphasizes connection, communication, and co-regulation as foundations of growth.

Sessions with Kirby will be tailored to your needs and goals. Some clients prefer a more exploratory, insight-oriented approach, whereas others prefer more direction and structure. Kirby uses a variety of clinical approaches to meet client needs, including ACT, DBT, EMDR, IFS, Child-Centered Play Therapy, and expressive arts. She also employs a systemic lens, meaning she will invite you to explore ways that social and cultural contexts impact your experiences. Her greatest hope is that your time in counseling will empower you towards greater self-trust and acceptance so that you can show up for yourself, your relationships, and your community in a way that feels meaningful and authentic.

Outside of work, Kirby enjoys reading, crafting, and spending time outdoors. She cannot wait to meet you!
