Kirby Jones (he/him), LCMHCA
Outpatient Psychotherapist in Midtown Raleigh
Starting the healing journey takes courage and strength. Simply reaching out is a powerful and meaningful first step. I am so glad that you are here.
My name is Kirby Jones, and I’m a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate. I earned my Master of Science in Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2018. I primarily work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, spirituality, and self-esteem concerns.
My approach is integrative, drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and person-centered techniques. I combine evidence-based practices with a warm, collaborative style to help you explore the thoughts, emotions, and experiences that may be contributing to your current challenges. My goal is to create a supportive space where you feel safe, understood, and empowered to pursue meaningful change.
I enjoy working with both young adults and adults, and I offer both in-person and virtual sessions to fit your needs.
Outside of the therapy space, I enjoy listening to lo-fi hip hop, trying out new recipes in the kitchen, and spending quality time with my family.
