Adults 18+ and Couples
Hello! I am Kristin Ratcliffe (she/her), a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Social Work. My commitment is to empower individuals on their journey toward personal growth and fulfillment. In therapy, I prioritize a collaborative partnership with my clients, fostering self-awareness and developing effective strategies for living rewarding lives. I specialize in working with adults and couples facing life transitions, including career changes, relationships, marriage and divorce, retirement, and parenthood. I also address issues such as depression, anxiety, perfectionism, attachment, trauma, self-esteem, communication challenges, conflict resolution, emotional detachment, trust concerns, and parenting difficulties.
My approach is grounded in person-centered and strengths-based methodologies. In addition to talk therapy, I utilize evidence-based practices tailored to each individual's needs. These include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and Constructed Awareness (CA). I also offer faith-based counseling for clients who wish to incorporate their beliefs into the therapeutic process, supporting their personal growth and well-being while aligning with their spiritual values. As your therapist, I provide compassion, empathy, and a goal-oriented approach to your therapeutic journey. Together, we will engage in a comprehensive exploration of self-discovery and healing. Through this collaboration, we will uncover patterns, increase awareness, and develop the skills necessary to empower you to make meaningful changes in your life!
