Works with ages 12+
Hey, my name is N’Dea I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate and a National Certified Counselor. I earned my Masters from North Carolina Central University and my Bachelor’s in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
I enjoy working with individuals who may be experiencing or desiring to work through Intra/interpersonal issues. Intergenerational trauma, anxiety, depression, oppression, unwanted behaviors, and life transitions (specifically middle school to high school/ high school to adulthood).
I utilize a holistic approach while implementing a variety of modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution focused brief therapy (SFBT), psychodynamic therapy, and motivational interviewing (MI) some of which you may be familiar and others not quite as much.
I believe that no effective work can take place without the foundation of trust. I seek to create an environment where clients are safe and feel they belong so that healing and transformation can begin.
