Outpatient Psychotherapist on the Telehealth Team

Sarah works with ages 4-90

Sarah (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (P023638) and Outpatient Psychotherapist at Three Oaks Behavioral Health and Wellness on the Telehealth team. Sarah received her Masters in Social Work from George Mason University and also holds a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Christopher Newport University. 

Sarah has extensive experience working with school aged children and their families in a supportive role. Sarah worked as a School Social Worker for over a decade with elementary through high school age groups. In this role Sarah worked with children and families experiencing housing instability; offering support, counseling, and other services. Sarah also worked extensively with children dealing with anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges and has years of experience in the special education field with children who are neurodivergent. Sarah offered support and counseling to children who are immigrants and is very culturally sensitive, she embraces all backgrounds.  

Sarah’s strength comes from having worked with such a wide range of children from different socio-economic and cultural backgrounds while addressing a variety of mental health and familial challenges. She believes in a holistic approach to therapy that is both trauma informed and collaborative to help individuals. Her approach is person centered, strength based and solution focused. She is committed to offering a welcoming and supportive environment and is enthusiastic about genuinely improving her client’s well being. 

In Sarah’s free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and young daughter. Her hobbies include traveling, baking, and reading. Sarah is very excited to help you along your journey!
