Hi, I’m Traci!
Being human can be overwhelming. It often feels like everyone else got a manual—except us. If you’ve ever felt like you’re “doing it wrong” or that you just don’t quite fit, I want you to know: you’re not alone.
My approach to therapy is centered entirely around you—your story, your patterns, your pain, your joy. Together, we’ll explore how you move through the world, uncover what’s been holding you back, and discover what it means to create a life that truly aligns with who you are.
I see therapy as a sacred, safe space where you can be your full, authentic self—free from judgment. It’s a place to bring your challenges, grief, curiosity, and dreams, and have them met with empathy and care. I believe we’re all just figuring out how to life, and that there’s no one right way to do it—just a shared human experience of growth and discovery. As Ram Dass said, we’re all just walking each other home.
I work with individuals, people of all relationship structures (including couples, polyamorous, open, and ENM relationships), as well as families. I have experience supporting people through a wide range of concerns, including relationship challenges, sexual health, identity and gender exploration, grief and loss, chronic illness, trauma, and unpacking generational patterns that shape our current experiences.
In addition to traditional talk therapy, I offer creative, hands-on approaches such as cooking therapy, food and mood counseling, art therapy, and emotional resiliency skills. These alternative methods can often reach places that words alone can’t touch, offering new pathways for healing and insight.
My background includes working in community mental health at a therapy and recovery farm, where I supported individuals living with persistent mental health challenges like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and major depression. There, I collaborated with individuals and their families to create holistic, integrative treatment plans that honored each person’s unique journey. I also facilitated group therapy and developed interventions using cooking as a powerful tool for connection and transformation.
My therapeutic style is compassionate, flexible, and collaborative. I draw from Motivational Interviewing (MI), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), and person-centered (Rogerian) principles to meet your needs with care and respect. Whether you’re navigating a crisis or simply seeking more meaning, we’ll work together to shape a path that feels authentic and empowering to you.
In my time away from the therapeutic space, I enjoy working in fiber arts and intertwining dyeing, sewing, and embroidery. I love spending time with my chosen family, cat, and house spiders. I enjoy going for walks to explore and marvel at the amazing biodiversity this world has to offer. You can often find me cooking, dancing, or reading.
Thank you for taking your time and energy reading my therapy profile and I look forward to discovering if we might be a good fit!
all parts of you are welcome here
