Hi there! My name is Yalonda Hines. I graduated from East Carolina University with my BSW in 2016 and Fayetteville State University with my MSW in 2022. I obtained my Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA) in 2022 and currently undergoing the process of transitioning from provisional to a fully licenses clinician. Total, I have over 13 years of experience with adults that includes the medical field and recent experience of working within the teen population (15+) within the mental health field. I have over 8 years of social work practice in public welfare, community mental health, hospital, and private practice. I find myself to be passionate about working with individuals who are navigating life transitions, emotional struggles, identity development, and more. I provide support to individuals who may feel overwhelmed by anxiety, past trauma, depression, or difficulty regulating emotions, yet carries a deep desire for change, healing, and self-awareness. I currently utilize therapy approaches including Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Dialectical Behavior (DBT), Intervention, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Person-Centered, Solution Focused Brief (SFBT), and Strength-Based. As a therapist, my goal is to meet individuals where they are by honoring their unique stories while helping them move toward the life they envision. I look forward to working with you!
