She then went on to complete her Masters in Rehabilitation Counseling and Psychology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Have you ever felt like you are living in a world not meant for you? That you feel lonely, even in a room full of people? Do you abandon yourself to make others happy? Do you feel like you have deep inner experiences that most people would misunderstand? Do you struggle with trust? Trusting others, past memories, daily experiences, but most importantly struggle with the trust with yourself? If this is connecting with you in any way, know that I see you, and I am here to support you in your journey to learn to love the parts of you that you haven't always been able to fully make sense of. I feel honored to be a part of your journey.

If you have ever felt like your thoughts, behaviors, or choices are not your own, or felt disconnected from your social group, family or peers. If you have ever felt like you are completely overrun by your emotional experiences and have fears of being not enough, or too much. Just know I am so happy you are here, and I look forward to hearing from you.

Jamie is a strong believer in the therapeutic alliance and meeting you where you are TODAY.

Jamie identifies that, for you, showing up to be present in the room demonstrates a leap of vulnerability and commitment to your therapeutic journey and recovery. Jamie, as the counselor, pledges to make that same commitment for each and every session with you. She is passionate about working with adults struggling with attachment-trauma, intense levels of anxiety, substance use, obsessive-compulsive dysregulation and/or perceptual disturbances. She identifies the value in creating a space where individuals can feel heard, supported, and empowered to develop skills and the self-acceptance to thrive.
