Interpersonal Effectiveness Skills Group

A 6-week virtual group for learning Interpersonal Effectiveness skills based on Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) skills training. Interpersonal Effectiveness skills can be helpful if you feel like you have trouble communicating with others or navigating conflict and confrontation.  Facilitated by Katie Hargreaves, LCSWA, LCASA, Outpatient Psychotherapist and RC Collman, Clinical Student Intern.

Topics include: mindfulness, communicating needs, saying no, interpersonal conflict

Monday evenings from 5:30-7:00
Virtual series beginning November 15, 2021

Adults' Introduction to Mindfulness

We would love for you to join us on a journey to learn new skills and to find a safe space to take a deep breath for yourself. Come and learn the foundations of mindfulness and its practices. I hope you can add these practices to your toolbelt and use them in a way that is healthy for you.

Topics include: stress management, building resiliency, mindfulness meditation, mindful yoga, mind-body connection, mind traps, interpersonal mindfulness & self compassion

*Curriculum is based on the research of Dr. Linda Meyerholtz, UNC Chapel Hill

Tuesday evenings from 6:00 to 7:30
