Finding Your No: A Women's Processing Group

We live in a culture which encourages women to abandon themselves for the other: partner, parent, child, or friend. Women habitually put the other person's needs above their own. Over time this pattern of self neglect starts to become natural, even deeply ingrained in our unconscious psyche, and saying “no” feels impossible. In this toxic set up many women feel that if they say “no” or “find their voice” they will lose everyone they hold dear. And so the cycle of self betrayal continues.

This group is intended for women to come together to break the cycle of self neglect and support one another in finding their boundary and their sense of self. If you are reading this and you don’t know what it means to say no, are scared to think of setting a boundary with a loved one, or cannot imagine a world where you speak your truth, then this group is for you. Let’s break the cycle of women feeling like they have to live in separate worlds doing their healing work. Let’s uproot the weeds our masculine culture has planted which encourage jealousy, passive aggressive behaviors, and envy among female friendships. This group utilizes both processing and psycho-education and will encourage women to find their boundaries, break codependency, learn attachment patterns, and learn how to stay in tune with themselves and their voice.
