Therapeutic Writing for Adults
Throughout this six-week virtual group, we will engage in a variety of therapeutic writing activities designed to encourage emotional awareness, build resilience, and facilitate processing difficult circumstances or events. Therapeutic writing is a powerful, research-based tool for both physical & emotional healing, and this group will support you in exploring ways to use this method to cope with numerous life stressors. We will create a space of compassion and curiosity & offer time for writing, discussion, and reflection. Ultimately your writing is for you, and whether or not you choose to share pieces of it with the group is entirely up to you. We would love for you to join us on this journey!
This group draws on the research of Dr. James Pennebaker and Dr. John Evans, as well as the work of Dr. Gillie Bolton

Self-Love Somatics and Zine-Making Workshop
Self-love is about so much more than warm & fuzzy feelings, but what exactly is it? And how do we connect to it, especially when we exist within systems that are anything but loving?
This virtual workshop includes two hours of practicing loving connection with yourself through: art, somatic (body-based) practices, “boring self-care,” and creating a self-love toolkit zine.
Participants will receive a self-love care package ahead of time, including materials for zine-making & sensory meditations.
Monday evening, February 14th from 7:00-9:00
Facilitated by Elle Townsend, LCSWA, LCASA
Price: $45 (materials included)
Limited sliding scale spots available. Please inquire.
