Adrienne Nagaraj (she/they), LCMHCA

Outpatient Psychotherapist in Downtown Raleigh

Works with ages 20-40

Hello! My name is Adrienne (she/they). I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate at Three Oaks Behavioral Health & Wellness in Downtown Raleigh and via Telehealth. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles and my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from San Francisco State University.

I am passionate about supporting clients as they navigate life changes, stress, depression, anxiety, trauma, sexuality and gender identity, employment/underemployment, and family relationships.

I believe in fostering a collaborative therapeutic relationship built with safety, respect, empowerment – and sometimes, humor. Together, we will create a therapy space that embraces curiosity and encourages self acceptance. I use an integrated counseling approach that incorporates aspects of Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy and mindfulness. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming and enthusiastically welcome clients of all races, cultures and identities. This is a safe space to explore and celebrate intersectionality.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, listening to music (Dominic Fike, Fletcher, Frank Ocean and Zach Bryan are all on my playlist right now), and exploring parks and outdoor spaces with my dog Jax.

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming and difficult! I’m so proud of you for taking this first step. I would be honored to join you on your journey of healing and exploration.
