Anna Rodenfels is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate and an Outpatient Psychotherapist in Durham. She received her undergraduate degree in social work from Auburn University and her Master of Social Work degree from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In addition to supporting clients at Three Oaks Behavioral Health & Wellness, Anna works as the Program Counselor for the Upward Bound Program at
UNC-Chapel Hill.

Anna understands the strength it takes to start therapy and believes in meeting clients where they are. She is passionate about helping clients learn how to be comfortable being uncomfortable, how to set individual and relationship boundaries, and how to grow toward self-acceptance. She works to create a space for clients to feel supported, heard and empowered as they move toward healing & change. Anna is LGBTQIA+ friendly and approaches all clients with empathy and compassion.

Anna’s therapeutic approach is client-centered and tailored to the individual’s needs. She uses evidenced-based treatment models including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Solution Focused and Motivational Interviewing (MI) in order to treat a wide variety of psychological issues in both adults and adolescents.
