Cassandra Charalambakis (she/her), LCMHCA, CRC

Outpatient Psychotherapist in Apex

Works with ages 18-35

My name is Cassandra Charalambakis (she/her), and I am an Outpatient Psychotherapist at Three Oaks Behavioral Health & Wellness in Apex. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (#A17624) and Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (#597028). I earned my undergraduate degree in Economics at the University of Kentucky and received my Master of Science in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

In session, I strive to provide a validating, authentic, and empathetic atmosphere that allows you to explore who you are. I firmly believe you are the expert of your own life. My purpose is to simply help generate insight, inspire critical thought, and provide gentle guidance along your journey of self-discovery. In this way, our relationship will be one based on respect, trust, and collaboration.

I integrate elements of therapy from an array of modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Person-Centered Therapy, Family Systems Therapy (FST), and Feminist Theory. I enjoy helping individuals work through anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, familial conflict, issues surrounding self-esteem, attachment trauma, emotional regulation difficulties, and stressful life transitions. I am also hugely passionate about women’s wellness.

When I’m not working, I enjoy playing fetch with my golden retriever (Buddy), reading mystery novels (I’m a big fan of Agatha Christie), practicing calligraphy, playing board games/trivia with friends, and eating lots of Greek food.

I’m so excited to work alongside you!
