Jamie Carbon (she/her), MS, LCMHCA

Outpatient Psychotherapist in South Durham

Hello! I'm Jamie Carbon, and I'm so stoked to be a clinician on the Three Oaks team. My passions are in individual, couples, and family therapy, and I can't wait to help you on your journey.

I earned my Master of Science in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from UNC Chapel Hill and am currently licensed as a LCMHC-A from the National Board of Certified Counselors. My commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest therapeutic techniques ensures that I provide you with the best care.

Over the past two years, I've had the privilege of working with diverse individuals, including those with various anxiety disorders, those with various depressive disorders, couples, families, adolescents, young adults, middle-aged adults, and the elderly. My experience has allowed me to refine my skills in cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, and feminist therapy.

My specialties include anxiety treatment, depression treatment, and working with those who are experiencing generational trauma. I'm passionate about using person-centered therapy, feminist therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy skills, and dialectical behavior therapy skills to guide individuals toward growth and resilience.

When I'm not in my office, you might find me trying new restaurants or cuisines or constantly cooking and refining recipes at home. I also have a fluffy son (my dog, LOL) that my Fiancé and I love hanging out with and chilling in front of the TV. I also love shopping, especially when it comes to buying organizational items.

Every person is different, and every journey is different, but no matter how hard the journey is, I want all of my clients to know that I am there for them and support them in any way I can. Life and healing can be difficult, but you do not have to go through it alone. My space is your safe space where you can discover the strength to continue and work towards being the best version of yourself. If you believe that therapy is right for you, please feel free to contact me. I want to help you reach your goals and look forward to joining you on this journey.
