Jayden Falldorf
Clinical Intern, North Carolina State University
Hi there! My name is Jayden Falldorf, and I am currently in my second year of my Master of Social Work program at North Carolina State University. I was born and raised in the heart of the Midwest and earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2020 from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln.
I approach therapy not as a tool to fix what is broken, but as an opportunity to explore our perfectly imperfect selves, discovering areas in which we can continue to grow while utilizing the strengths that we already have as a baseline. My therapeutic approach draws from evidence-based modalities, primarily motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioral therapies, all through a strengths-based lens.
I am particularly interested in working with older teens and adults, particularly those looking for guidance navigating through various relationships with others (familial, friends, and both monogamous & polyamorous romantic). I am also interested in working with those struggling with addictions, including substance use and pornography.
In my spare time, I am an absolute geek about brewing craft coffee while throwing on a record from my music collection. I also enjoy hiking and camping with my two pups!
