Pressley is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (14937), Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (25486), Director the Clinical Internship Program, and Outpatient Psychotherapist in North Raleigh. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from North Carolina State University and her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from North Carolina Central University. 

Pressley's approach to therapy focuses on improving quality of life through fostering awareness and acceptance of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Through this, it is her hope that you are able to more effectively regulate your emotions, cope with difficult situations, and ultimately live a more present and meaningful life. Pressley will often incorporate value-based work, skill-building, mindfulness techniques, and body-based practices into sessions. Her therapeutic style utilizes different evidenced-based practices, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Above all, Pressley places a strong emphasis on the therapeutic relationship and feels as though creating a calming & collaborative environment is the foundation of the healing process. It is her goal to ensure that each client feels safe, supported, and understood. 

Pressley is passionate about working with individuals who are experiencing concerns with anxiety, depression, general life transitions, relationship concerns, OCD, addiction, and trauma. She also loves to work with individuals who simply want to learn how to more effectively achieve their goals and live a meaningful life. Pressley is LGBTQIA+ affirming and works with adults ages 18 and older.
