Eloise (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate and an Outpatient Psychotherapist at Three Oaks Behavioral Health & Wellness in East Raleigh. She received both her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Master of Social Work degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Eloise works with couples, adult individuals, and parents with challenges related to: relationship issues, attachment, intimacy, negative conflict cycles, communication, parenting/co-parenting dynamics, parent-child relationships, emotion regulation, stress management, and impacts of divorce or other life transitions.
Eloise understands that when painful emotional and relational patterns feel cyclical, it can leave people feeling stuck, overwhelmed, completely burnt out, and afraid to take risks again. She recognizes the effort it takes to seek support and aims to create an open and inviting space where clients can profoundly explore their inner world, present concerns, and feel accepted & understood in whatever they bring into session.
In her therapy sessions, Eloise often explores how her clients' pasts impact them in the present and works with them as they begin to make sense of their pain, how it moves through them, and the ways in which it comes out with others in their life. She uses therapy to help clients grow and heal by recognizing and reshaping unhelpful patterns or dynamics that leave them feeling hurt, stagnant, or disconnected. She is deeply committed to walking alongside her clients in their journey to learn & master new and sustainable ways of engaging in order to feel more connected, and experience a renewed sense of security, balance, healing, and profound change.
Eloise primarily draws her therapeutic techniques including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Psychodynamic Therapy (insight-oriented), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Satir Growth Model. She is Level 2 Gottman Couples Therapy Certified.
